The Admiral Instruments team recently returned from a great week at Beyond Lithium Ion XVI (BLI-XVI) at the University of California, Berkeley. As a conference sponsor, it was a fantastic opportunity to spend time with the battery research community and connect with researchers, engineers, and industry professionals working across electrochemical energy storage and conversion.
Throughout the event and related visits, we had many engaging conversations with attendees working on solid-state batteries, lithium-metal and sodium-ion systems, aqueous chemistries, battery safety, AI-driven approaches to battery research, and grid-scale energy storage. We also showcased the Squidstat Plus potentiostat and Squidstat Cycler - Base Model through live demonstrations of EIS and battery cycling, which made for great discussions around experimental setups, measurement workflows, and real-world research challenges.
